Between November 5 and 11, 2020, Electric South organised the VR Festival. One of the talks was an introduction to the network of experts in VR/AR/XR currently working across Africa to author and produce the first wave of virtual reality films from the continent. The talk featured Cairotronica’s Nada Bakr among speakers from the VR/AR/XR communities in Kenya, Nigeria, Egypt and South Africa.
