Chrystèle Nicot @chrystelenicot and Antoine Alesandrini provide a solution for those with complicated love lives with PRAAB (Programme de Réhabilitation à l’Amitié et l’Amour par le Bureau) which translates to Rehabilitation Program for Friendship and Love at the office.

Salma Aly's @salmaaly Hacking Design is a DIY kit for designers to hack and print over existing prints. It includes a printing device and an open-source typeface. The device is a result of researching the digital and manual aspects of design, and how they can be merged to produce the best outcome.

Lana Kurdi's @lanakurdi__ installation breeding the Super Generation is a visualization for a futuristic gene editing lab. The project aims to ignite a global conversation around the possibilities and ethical dilemmas of advanced gene editing tools not only in surrounding life but also in our own species.

تبحث لانا الكردي في مستقبل التعديل الجيني البشري بهدف مناقشة حول النتائج المحتملة والمعضلات الأخلاقية للتعديلات الجينية .

Three installations coming to Cairo on April 26

She Who Sees The Unknown is a long-term, research-based project where Morehshin Allahyari @morehshin uses 3D modelling, 3D scanning, 3D printing, and storytelling to re-create monstrous female/queer figures of Middle Eastern origin, using the traditions and myths associated with them to explore the catastrophes of colonialism, patriarchism and environmental degradation in the Middle East.

Falling is the study of a collapse by Sandrine Deumier @sandrinedeumier.
The artwork, consisting of 9 collapsology scenes created from Internet culture imaginaries, tries to interrogate a possible dismantling of the human practices of nature subjection and species classification through a search of eco-feminist postures.

Fragmentin's @fragment.in 2019 Installation Val d’Arcadia presents a fictional region of about 4’000km2 situated in the middle of the Swiss Alps. This area is embedded in a hypothetical future where infrastructure and tourists have melted this region's ice topography level.
“Artificial Arcadia” calls us to consider how contemporary landscape entangles natural, artificial and digital realms.

She Who Sees The Unknown هو مشروع طويل الأمد قائم على الأبحاث تستخدم فيه موره شین اللهیاری نماذج ثلاثية الأبعاد والمسح الضوئي ثلاثي الأبعاد والطباعة ثلاثية الأبعاد والقصص لإعادة إنشاء كائنات نسائية شريرة وغريبة من أصل شرق أوسطي وتستخدم التقاليد والأساطير المرتبطة بالكائنات لكشف الأثار الكارثية للاستعمار والأبوية والتدهور البيئي في الشرق الأوسط.

Falling هو دراسة للانهيار قامت بها ساندرين دوميه تحاول فيها ان تستكشف تحليل سلوكيات إخضاع الطبيعة وتصنيف السلالات من خلال تقاطعها مع حركات أجساد نسائية.

مجموعة فراجمانتين تقدم تركيباً في الفراغ بعنوان Val d’Arcadia وهي منطقة خيالية تبلغ مساحتها حوالي ٤٠٠٠ كيلو متر مربع وتقع في وسط جبال الألب السويسرية. وهذه المنطقة في مستقبل افتراضي ذابت فيه طبقات الجليد بسبب البنية التحتية والزيارات السياحية.

Barakunan presents The Fountain - The Boundaries of Literature in the Digital Age an installation produced between 2019 and 2020 that presents original texts from various genres of literature animated in digital representations of archetypal spaces to explore how they impact the delivery and reception of literature.

Marie Eve Levasseur @marieeve_levasseur exhibits her 2019 video Swiping Compressed Filtered Love (et enfin, permettre l’incontrôlable) which critiques online dating applications and compares them to spontaneous physical meeting and imagines how online dating can evolve to simulate physical dating.

Amira Hanafi @lingolingua the Museum of the Science of a Good Lie MOTSOAGL is an ongoing project of artistic research originating in the artist's encounter with the 1930 memoir of Bata Kindai Amgoza Ibn LoBagola, who worked as a lecturer, entertainer, and cultural informant in the US and Europe in the early twentieth century.

ماري إيف ليفاسيور تعرض علمها Swiping Compressed Filtered Love وهو عمل من ٢٠١٩ ينتقد تطبيقات المواعدة ويقارن اللقاءات العاطفية عن طريق التطبيقات باللقاءات التي تتم وجهاً لوجه ويتخيل الفيديو كيف يمكن أن تتطور التطبيقات لتحاكي اللقاءات التي تتم خارج النطاق الرقمي.

متحف علم الكذبة الجيدة عمل من إنتاج أميرة حنفي وهو بحث فني مستمر بدأ منذ أن اطلعت أميرة على مذكرات باتا كينداي أمجوزا ابن لوباجولا المكتوبة عام ١٩٣٠ الذي كان محاضراً ومقدماً للعروض الفنية وعمل كمخبر ثقافي في السياقات العلمية في الولايات المتحدة وأوروبا في مطلع القرن العشرين.

بعد مشاركتها في زمالة نحن بيانات تعود إيمان إبراهيم بعملها ماذا حدث في العام الماضي؟! الذي يستكشف العلاقة بين علم الرياضيات المجردة والفنون البصرية.

Volunteers are extremely essential to Cairotronica's 3rd Edition, which will take place from 26 April to 1 May.
Starting from 17 April, you will be contributing to making the Electronic and New Media Art Festival happen in 2021. The festival taking place at The Factory and Tahrir Cultural Center will be open free for visitors introducing them to unique experiential artwork by +40 artists from 22 countries.
Volunteering with the event is a gateway for you to learn about what it takes to create an art event, workshops, work with artists and set up a fantastic exhibition.
